- Jetsoft Development Company announces the releases of Art-Copy 7.5 Consumer Edition and Art-Copy 7.5 Business Edition.
Art-Copy 7.5 Consumer Edition's simple but powerful interface works as simple as a copier but allows for users to scan to other destinations such as a printer, fax, and file or email address. Users are able to put a stack of original pages on a desktop scanner's flatbed or ADF unit, press just one button on the interface, and each image will be scanned in correct page order and sent automatically to the proper destination.
The Consumer Edition allows users to scan paper originals to any valid email address using their own email client or Art-Copy's internal email client. This eliminates the need to ever walk to a fax machine or disconnect from an Internet connection to use a fax modem. With Art-Copy 7.5 Consumer Edition, users get good scans without having to answer a lot of questions from the complicated software that comes with scanners.
Art-Copy 7.5 Consumer Edition can also double as a desktop paper copier. A larger percentage of copies are now made by desktop scanners instead of the traditional stand alone copier, Art-Copy 7.5 has added paper handling features to make desktop copying just like using a high end copier duplicator of years past. Users of Art-Copy 7.5 are able to put a stack of original pages on a desktop scanner's flatbed or ADF unit, specify the
number of copies needed, press just one button on the interface, and each set of copies will print out collated in the same page order as the original. A user with a scanner at his desk can make full use of his/her laser printer without ever having to leave his/her desk to make copies. This can be done with color copies or just plain black and white originals.
Art-Copy 7.5 consumer edition will even auto crop the original and resize it to standard picture sizes or a user specified size.
Jetsoft's New Art-Copy 7.5 Business Edition adds many advance features such as the ability to create compressed multiple page PDF and TIFF files in addition to variety of other file formats with the click of just one button. Art-Copy can scan front and back documents multiple page documents without requiring a duplex scanner or without even an auto document feeder. When digitizing documents, Art-Copy Business Edition's compression features make the files up to 95% smaller. The Business Edition will even de-screen magazine and newspaper photos quickly delivering clean scans ready for
output. Using the auto naming feature users can easily scan documents to numbered JPEGs (i.e. file0001.jpg, file0002.jpg, etc.), a multiple page TIFF file or a PDF image file with truly one click for each document.
Art-Copy works on any Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 & XP system with a TWAIN
