Art-Copy 7.5 Business Edition digitizes front and back paper documents without a duplex scanner!

- Jetsoft Development Company announces the release of Art-Copy 7.5 Business Edition that allows users to scan front and back documents to multiple page PDF and TIFF files without a duplex scanner. Users simply scan the front sides of the documents and then the backside and Art-Copy 7.5 automatically puts them in the proper page order and saves them to a compressed PDF or TIFF file. In addition Art-Copy includes batch scanning for sheet fed fax type scanners who’s ADF are not software controllable and for plain flatbed scanners to enable them to scan multiple page documents. Users have the option of naming the document or using Art-Copy's auto naming features, which truly makes scanning a document, a one-click job.
Many corporation have a variety of different scanning hardware including high speed auto document feeders, large size A3 scanners, and low end desktop scanners that they use to digitize documents and capture content throughout the corporate enterprise. Supporting all of this hardware and the complicated software that comes with them is a nightmare for many IT departments. Art-Copy 7.5 allows corporations to deploy one software package as part of their operating system build that works easily on all of those devices. Corporate users prefer Art-Copy's simple but powerful interface that works as simple as a copier but allows for users to scan to other destinations such as scanning to file and scanning to email. Also, Art-Copy keeps the image of the paper original on file so both the user and the receiver have a record of the correspondence and have a central place to review both the hard copy and email communication. This feature happens all with the click of just one button.
Jetsoft's new Art-Copy 7.5 can also double as a copier duplicator. A larger percentage of copies are now made by desktop scanners instead of the traditional stand alone copier, Art-Copy 7.5 has added paper handling features to make desktop copying just like using a high end copier duplicator of years past. Users of Art-Copy 7.5 are able to put a stack of original pages on a desktop scanner's flatbed or ADF unit, specify the number of copies needed, press just one button on the interface, and each set of copies will print out collated in the same page order as the original. A corporate user with a scanner at his desk can make full use of his/her workgroup's laser printer without ever having to leave his/her desk to make copies. This can be done with color copies or just plain black and white originals.
Art-Copy 7.5 will also auto crop any original and resize it to standard picture frame sizes or a user specified size.
